The theory that I use most is Solution Focused Brief Therapy. This type of therapy focuses on solutions and the preferred future versus the problem. Using this theory I try to help clients realize their inner strengths and goals. I believe every human is innately good and has the ability to find their solutions to life's challenges.

I am Natalie Johnson a licensed professional counselor and school counselor. For the last 19 years I have been in a school setting, 10 of which have been in counseling. I completed my Master's degree from Texas Wesleyan University with a Master's in counseling where I completed my license for Professional Counseling and school counseling. I also attended Texas A&M University, where I completed my Bachelor's in Science majoring in Psychology and minoring in Sociology.

Through my experience in my education and counseling I have worked with over 5,000 individuals and families. Using Solution Focused Therapy, I have seen issues included but not limited to: anxiety, depression, grief, transitioning periods, ADHD, Autism, unhealthy relationships, abuse and trauma. The most important attribute that I hope to bring you through my counseling is the feeling of hope for your future. If I am capable of reaching that goal then I feel I can help empower you to overcome personal obstacles to find your place in this world.
