Let me tell you a little about myself, my professional background, and how I can support you as you navigate the challenges you are currently facing. I have a master’s degree in clinical social work. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California, and most of my experience as a therapist has occurred in a community mental health setting serving low-income, vulnerable individuals. I come from a biopsychosocial perspective, an interdisciplinary model that looks at the interconnection between biology, psychology, and socio-environmental factors and how they impact a person’s well-being. My specialties include treating complex trauma, depression, and anxiety. I am certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and have extensive training in the following clinical modalities: Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Cognitive Processing Therapy.
