About

I am a licensed clinical therapist and mental wellness advocate. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Winthrop University and went on to pursue my Master of Social Work degree from the same institution. My professional career started in 2011, and I have worked with many individuals and groups of people since that time. I have worked with individuals is homeless shelters, inpatient psychiatric settings, hospice homes, HIV/AIDS agencies and more. In those spaces, I’ve helped people to cope through difficult circumstances, manage change, develop in growth, and overcome debilitating challenges such as unforgiveness, grief, low self-esteem, negative self-image, depression, stress, burnout, and frustration.

My philosophy is that everything must change. Where you are now is not where you will be in the next one, five, or ten years. I am solutions focused therapist with a goal of helping you to identify and process through the root of your issues, and find practical and effective solutions to overcome so that you may become the best version of yourself.

My therapeutic style is one that is relational. In a session with me, you can expect that I will challenge you to grow and to see yourself where you desire to be. We will work together to ensure that our time together is productive and impactful, as it is my goal to see people excel beyond any limitations.
