Welcome to my page! The journey of change begins here.


I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas. I received my MA in Community Counseling from the University of Texas at San Antonio.
Throughout my career I’ve worked in the private and public sector, as well as in clinical settings.

My journey has even taken me overseas where I worked as an Assistant Professor of Psychology and Dean of Students at a private University in Hong Kong. My experience working overseas and in a very diverse community equipped me with the tools to navigate different cultures, faiths, and value systems.

I believe that each individual comes with a very distinct set of characteristics that makes them unique. This is the reason why I keep an open and flexible theoretical approach. While I mostly lean on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, I also work a lot with Existential and Humanistic theories with the ultimate goal of facilitating insight and positive changes.

I operate from an integrative approach. I look closely at four areas of well-being: physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health. When any one of them is lacking, the others are affected. It is my goal to help you identify which areas need work and then strengthen those areas through a collaborative effort.
