Working from a person-centered approach, I utilize evidenced-based therapies, integrating interventions to equip my clients with new coping tools, as well as insight into the origins of their difficulties that have led to ineffective thinking and beliefs and maladaptive behaviors. I also integrate the latest findings on neuroscience. Much of my experience has been working with youth in an active counseling process where we explore feelings, beliefs, developmental needs, behaviors and set healthy goals by using their strengths to navigate the uncertainties in their life. My work also includes individuals, couples, and families in struggling relationships to improve or restore their emotional bonds.
