Hello, and welcome! As an experienced mental health counselor, I am here to provide support and encouragement to anyone who is struggling with difficult emotions, stressful life transitions, and/or interpersonal relationship issues. My approach to helping is integrative, person-centered, and strength based, and I have advanced training in trauma, CBT and DBT. Over the years, I've had the opportunity to support many parents and families through difficult times, providing gentle and compassionate parenting guidance. I originally studied nursing and practiced as an RN in the areas of pediatrics and mental health for many years before returning to graduate school to study mental health counseling. I attended Nyack College's Alliance Graduate School of Counseling, and I'm an LMHC in New York, an LPC in Colorado, and also hold national certification (NCC).
