I am a Licensed Master Social Worker in the state of New York. Over the years, I have worked in various settings, such as transitional care, assisted living, community centers, and treatment programs, and have gained experience from all of them. Since starting my career in the Human Service field back in 1998, I worked with a diverse client population until I identified my true passion for servicing those living with mental health diagnoses. Within my work experience, I have collaborated with community agencies and families within the Western New York area to build healthy connections to a large range of resources for clients and providers I assist. I currently practice a variety of modalities, including Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) when working with individuals living with depression, anxiety, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, personality disorders, schizophrenia, and other behavioral issues. I also have experience working with children within the Niagara County foster care system and sit on their quarterly panel to discuss my experience as a foster parent fostering children with behavioral health issues. In addition, I have also worked with Girl Circle, an evidence-based program designed to meet the unique challenges of teen girls in the Niagara County school system. Lastly, my most rewarding endeavor is providing education about mental health stigmas and the importance of mental health as it pertains to spiritual health.
