About
Hello all, I have experience working with First Responders struggling with substance use as well as individuals coping with mental health challenges. Some of the issues I have helped individuals cope with are anxiety, depression, trauma, family conflict, intimate partner conflict, workplace related stressors, and processing systemic racism. I enjoy being there to help guide my clients towards their preferred story. Hence, Natrative Therapy is my theoretical approach although I will pull from other approaches as well. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is also an approach that I use often. It is important to me to show up for my community as a therapist of color and help decrease stigma around seeking mental health treatment.
