I have been working specifically with couples and individuals, empowering their dating, relationships and sex lives for over a decade. My work as a sex (and sex-positive) therapist focuses on developing stronger communication, a better understanding and awareness of our desires, driving forces, and developing a deeper connection between mind and body. I work to help people break down shame and guilt and feel more positive, and to develop healthier attitudes around sex, and sexuality. I deal with relationship issues, non monogamy and polyamory, and all dating concerns. I specialize in alternative lifestyles, modern relationships, creative expression, LGBTQ, kink, poly, sexual/social minorities, gender issues, sex workers, ethnic minorities, and issues around sexual orientation. I am also a published author, and a nationally recognized sex and relationship expert as well.

Currently, I consult with people all over via Skype and online platforms. I think Find A Therapist is a unique platform which allows for daily email exchanges, which supports the healing process while allowing people to discover (or re-discover) their voice through writing, which can be incredibly cathartic. I also provide education and counseling towards breaking the myths and molds which surround our hetero-normative, and monogamous-normative society, and which may contribute to hold us back and prevent us from expressing our true potential. I also have extensive experience working with depression, anxiety, trauma, and PTSD around religion and sex.

I feel that all things are interconnected. Our relationships cannot be healed unless we look at ourselves and vice versa. Our psychological experiences will have an affect on our bodies.

I am a California Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist - #MCF44134. I have a Bachelor's of Arts in Clinical Psychology, emphasis in Human Sexuality from San Francisco State University, and Master of Art's degree from Pepperdine University, in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy. I am licensed by the California Board of Behavioral Science.

I have been an activist and an advocate for sexual freedom for many years. I'm a member of AASECT (American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors and Therapists) and KAP (Kink Aware Professionals). I create sex-positive media and edcuational materials. I am also a musician and filmmaker.
