Welcome! I'm so glad you're here, searching for a therapist – I hope you find a reason to take the leap. I’ve been a therapist since 2017 and I’ve worked with adolescents and adults from diverse racial, cultural, and economic backgrounds. Over time, I have come to realize that having a therapist that can share and/or affirm your identities can be meaningful while navigating mental health concerns. For that reason, I have a special interest in serving BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ folks. That said, I have the ability to honor the human condition, while also making relevant the identities that make our experiences so vastly different – everyone is welcome! I believe that self-compassion, perspective, and emotional support are the foundation for us, as human beings, to feel at peace within our minds, bodies, and souls. I am intentional about my interactions with others. I feel a deep sense of desire to bring non-judgment into every session and I am committed to guiding my clients towards a life that feels authentic. I use a variety of approaches and techniques to help get you more comfortable in your mind, help you make peace with and in your relationships, and I will make it a point to provide you with coping skills so that you can live a more fulfilling life. ?Therapy is sometimes uncomfortable when trying to change old patterns of engaging with ourselves, others, and the world, but I'll be right here to uplift and encourage you.
