About

As a licensed clinical social worker, I offer therapy in a safe and supportive environment that promotes healing and growth. I work collaboratively with my clients to help them tap into their own strengths and resilience, develop greater insight, and experience a deeper sense of connection to themselves and others.

Using a warm and holistic approach, I have helped many of my clients make courageous changes, overcome adversity, and live healthier, more balanced lives. I utilize strengths-based and trauma-informed evidence based practices including cognitive behavioral, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused techniques.

My background in community-based mental health care has given me the opportunity to work with a diverse clientele, including members of the LGBTQ community, individuals affected by HIV/AIDS and other complex medical issues, and people struggling with addiction and other maladaptive behaviors. I have extensive experience in providing treatment to people who are dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, parenting challenges, relationship issues, self-esteem issues, and life transitions.
