Hello! My name is Morgan (she/her) and I am a Licensed Social Worker with over four years of experience providing therapy, and over eight years experience in the social work field. I have worked across several areas of social work including Foster Care, Child Protective Services, Community Mental Health (intensive home based therapy), inpatient psychiatric hospitalization, and in schools. My work has primarily been with youth and young adults, however I have experience with all ages due to working with families intensively. I have worked with individuals with various concerns, including trauma, mood disorders, personality disorders, attention disorders, and more. I have worked with individuals, families, and groups.

I have lived in Michigan my entire life. I received my undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice, with a minor in Psychology, from the University of Michigan- Dearborn in 2013. I worked in the social work field for three years before attending the University of Michigan- Ann Arbor, where I received my graduate degree in Social Work with a concentration in Interpersonal Practice: Mental Health.

I take a client-centered, strengths based approach to therapy. I believe in utilizing a client's own strengths and building upon those to assist them in reaching their goals. I use aspects of various therapeutic modalities (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Trauma Focused Therapy, etc.) when working with clients in order to come up with an approach that works best for them.

Outside of my work with Find A Therapist, I am currently a School Social Worker in the Metro-Detroit area. I enjoy reading, doing puzzles, and spending time with family, including my two dogs.
