Hello, I am a clinically trained Marriage and Family Therapist. I work on-line only as a tele-health specialist. I have worked in-person with private practice and in a College Counseling Center. Populations served is usually 12-65. I work with many different issues from anxiety and depression to trauma and grief. My approach is with compassion and empathy through empowerment techniques, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and Brief Approaches. I am trained in trauma. My specialties are anxiety, PTSD, family/relational issues, and adjustment. I love the job mostly because I get to meet such amazing people. I look forward to helping others find their own path. My approach to therapy is client centered: you are the author of your story. I draw on multiple treatment modalities to guide clients in identifying strengths and developing treatment plans that accomplish their goals including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), clients explore relationships through thoughts, feelings, and behaviors to help them discover dysfunctional and negative thought patterns leading to self-destructive behaviors and beliefs. I work to support clients through developing skills: mindfulness, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, and emotion regulation with the goal of moving clients towards a healthier and more joyful life experience.
Outside work: I love to surround myself with family and friends. I enjoy exercising, mindfulness and taking walks. I find peace in nature and love to hike.
