About

I have a doctorate in Clinical Psychology with a concentration in Neuropsychology. I also have a masters in mental health counselling and a masters in marriage and family therapy. I have a very strong sense of compassion and commitment to helping people. I am understanding and open minded; I honor and value the fact that my clients have entrusted me as a professional to help them with their mental health.

I believe that it is of utmost importance that my clients and I agree on what is in their best interest, and what works best for them. I believe that therapy is a tool for the individual to heal and improve their mental health, not a lifelong commitment. Therefore, my professional goal is to help my clients achieve their mental health goals within an appropriate time frame.

I have many years of experience providing evidence-based treatment, support, understanding, and unconditional positive regard. I have worked with all genders, adolescents, adults, couples, and families from different cultural, religious, and ethnic backgrounds.

I base my treatment of individuals on the evidence-based principles of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). With couples and families, I rely on the principals of Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Solution Focused Therapy (SFT). My therapy is always tailored to the individual.
