As a professional in the counseling field, Monica utilizes her natural empathy and well-honed counseling abilities, to helps clients move forward and live their best life despite their suffering from trauma and abuse, depression, anxiety, and family and school issues. Counseling services are tailored to the needs of the client utilizing a variety of treatment approaches such as EMDR, trauma focused CBT, narrative therapy, and solution focused to name a few.

Monica continues to dedicate her life in guiding others in their journey toward healing. Throughout her years in the field, Monica has worked in a variety of settings from a psychiatric hospital to community and private mental health counseling services. Monica openly accepts, understands, and works with people of different faiths and worldviews. In addition, her bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish enables her to relate more with her clients from diverse backgrounds.

Monica is a graduate of Liberty University with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, with Emphasis in Human Services Counseling, along with Palm Beach Atlantic University, where she obtained a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology, with Emphasis in Mental Health Counseling and Marriage and Family Therapy. She has been a licensed mental health counselor in Florida since 2011.
