I’m Molly Sullivan. I’m a Bay Area native, a lover of all bodies of water, a dog person, and a trained clinical social worker. I feel lucky to have a career that allows me to bring my authentic self to my work and harness the power of human connection. Therapy can transform our relationships with ourselves and, by extension, with others. I help to bring my clients into a more loving and understanding relationship with themselves to heal old wounds and make more space for ease and joy in their lives and relationships. I believe in a non-pathologizing approach to therapy. I empower my clients to write their own life stories. I make space for clients to come as they are. My social work background informs my therapy work; I am attuned to psychological, environmental, and socio-cultural factors in my work with clients. I view therapy as one of many tools for liberation. Clients see me for a range of topics and issues. In therapy, we may work on managing or reducing depression symptoms, coping skills for anxiety and stress, PTSD and dysregulation, substance use (self and a loved one’s use), healthy relationships and boundaries, and, dealing with a loved one’s severe mental illness.
