I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Washington State. I earned my MA in mental health counseling from Antioch University - Seattle. I have over 25 years of experience in the mental health field. I utilize Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, person-centered, mindfulness, as well as, systems theory to conceptualize the context of whatever system has the greatest influence in your life at this time. (Family of origin, family of creation or work, etc.) In the future, I look forward to learning and using EMDR, Internal Family Systems, polyvagal theory, as well as, other trauma informed mind and body treatment. The relationship between you and your therapist is a vital component of your therapeutic journey. I will use my experiences to join and relate with you. And my education to better understand you, your circumstances and how you would like to be in your life. I also use humor, at times, and when appropriate in the therapeutic experience I provide.

Healing is a sacred journey. It is not an easy journey but it is worth it. You are worth it. It is an honor and privilege to be able to join people on their journeys and walk beside them for a while.
