Hello! I'm happy that you are here and on your first step toward changes in your life. I'm hopeful that you find the right person to assist you on that journey. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Board Approved Supervisor in the State of MD. I have many years of experience as a mental health professional where I have been employed in a variety of settings. I have worked in a traditional outpatient counseling office, as a crisis counselor, and within primary care offices. Prior to completion of my master’s degree I worked for about four years as a Certified Addiction Counselor. I feel comfortable and confident working with a wide variety of mental health and substance abuse disorders. I am happy to work with individuals from a wide range of backgrounds and attempt to provide a safe space where everyone can feel comfortable and accepted as they are.
In therapy sessions we will utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques. At the core of every approach is you! My goal is to always ensure that you are treated with respect and empathy and to assist you with discovering and reaching your own goals.
