Hello. My name is Miriam Solomon, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Louisiana as well as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the state of Massachusetts. I have 11 years of experience working in a variety of settings. After graduating from Simmons School of Social Work in 2010, I spent the first half of my career serving patients on an inpatient psychiatric facility in Massachusetts. In 2014, I relocated back to my hometown of Louisiana and am currently practicing Social Work at a medical center caring for patients in the clinic and hospital setting.

I take a unique interest in working with individuals who are challenged by depression, anxiety, post-partum complexities, college angst, grief/loss, and medical illness. In addition, I have experience providing support to caregivers of loved ones with medical or mental health issues. I am skilled in multiple therapeutic modalities. These include supportive, solution-focused, client-centered, narrative, cognitive behavioral, and psychodynamic therapy.

My goal as a therapist is to provide you with non-judgmental support and guidance so that your life can be less complicated and more joyful. I look forward to working with you!
