Mindy McCarty is a licensed professional counselor, LPC 005792. Mindy also holds a substance abuse counselor certificate in Georgia, CADC-II. Mindy McCarty has been a therapist in the counseling field since 2015. She has worked in diverse settings like a substance abuse treatment facility, an accountability court, a community behavioral health center, and with DFCS and DJJ youth in a group home setting. Mrs. McCarty also teaches counseling students at her undergraduate alumni, Point University. She has a heart for helping hurting people through evidence-based empowerment modalities and assisting people to tap into their inner resilience to overcome all types of life challenges. She works from an empathic, non-judgmental model to meet her clients where they are and assist them in getting to the place they want to be.
