I'm Milagro Arevalo. I've been a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist since 2013. Therapy is your safe space. It's a place to express yourself without judgment. I focus on wellness and strengths and take a person-centered approach in treatment to help you along your wellness journey. I'm here to work with and support couples and individuals. My approach I incorporate different treatment modalities such as solution-focused, family systems, and cognitive behavioral therapy with the person-centered approach to treatment. My focus My current focus is working with couples and adult individuals on various topics such as mild to moderate depression, ADHD, stress/anxiety, marriage/separation/divorce, and relationships with friends/family members. My communication style Checking in with you at the beginning of each session is important. It gives guidance on what you hope to gain from the day's session and can give insight into any important concerns to address. My goals for you Wellness goals are client driven—YOU are the expert of your life. I'm here to help you achieve these goals toward positive mental health with a realistic approach. My first session with you I'm an advocate of ensuring you understand informed consent, the risks/benefits of telehealth therapy versus in-person, and making sure we find crisis resources available to you should you ever need them. We'll talk about your decision to seek therapy and what you'd like to achieve.
