About

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and have been in practice for over 25 years. I have an MBA with a specialization in management and am a veteran of the United States Air Force.

My professional experience includes providing psychotherapy to individuals, including active duty/veterans and first responders, struggling with:
1. depression, anxiety, anger, loss/grief
2. life changes, relationship, and divorce
3. work dissatisfaction, burnout and conflict.

My additional areas of clinical interest include wellness and resiliency, crisis response, and management consultations.

My clinical philosophy is primarily cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT). CBT examines how our negative thinking, feelings, and behaviors contribute and reinforce our distress and suffering. The CBT process will help you explore and shift from negative to healthier, positive and more adaptive thinking, feelings, behaviors, ultimately leading to less suffering.

CBT and the counseling process will also help you achieve enhanced self-awareness to develop the tools and strategies needed for emotional well-being and goal achievement.
