Hello,
My name is Migdalia "Mimi" Pierce. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I'm a bilingual psychotherapist who has worked with many non-profit agencies and psychiatric hospitals. I have over 13 years experience counseling adults, children, teens, and families. I graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Arts in 2001. In 2003, I graduated with a Masters in Family Psychology from Hardin-Simmons University. I am currently working in private practice and specialize in women’s issues.

I work a lot with adolescent and adult women on a variety of issues. These often include Eating Disorders, Infertility, PPD, Anxiety, Depression, and Grief.

I love being a therapist. Counseling is something I have wanted to do since I was in junior high. My passion for the field is something that has never gone away.
I use a mixer of a solution-focused approach, a narrative approach, and some cognitive therapy as well. Therapy is something very personal so I really try to assess my clients needs and just utilize what works for them. Life is a journey and I really hope to help you blossom into your full potential.
