My name is Shelli and I would love to work with you, to help you with whatever you are struggling with right now. My past and current clients may describe me as someone who is easy to talk to, non-judgmental, caring, and funny (ok, I added this one, but humor is needed sometimes!)

A little about my background (the boring stuff)....I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC E.1901208). I obtained my bachelor’s in Social Work with minor in Psychology from The University of Toledo in 2012. I then moved to Cincinnati, Ohio to start my masters program in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, completing in the spring of 2015. I have worked in the community mental health field since 2013, and still do! I have worked primarily with adults for the past eight years. I have had extensive experience treating a widespread of emotional and mental disorders, and substance use disorders. My areas of strengths include treatment for depression, anxiety, trauma, substance abuse, personality disorders, relationship issues, and self-esteem issues. During our time together, I will incorporate a variety of therapies including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.

Most importantly, above all, I value the therapy relationship. My main focus is to provide a safe and secure environment where you feel comfortable to share, without judgement. I want you to feel comfortable and safe to share openly during our sessions, without intent to guard information or mask your thoughts.
