I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New York state and have a diverse background of experience working as a psychotherapist. I have worked with a wide range of clients in addressing concerns with depression, anxiety, personality disorders, mood disorders, domestic violence, substance abuse, LGBTQ issues and developing healthy coping skills.

I believe that for therapy to be successful, the client should decide what they would like to experience from therapy, a true client centered approach. I am successful with clients that are looking for short term, goal-oriented approaches and have the desire to develop healthy coping skills or that are looking to resolve conflict and find solutions. My approach often interweaves several concepts and I customize to each clients needs, I often use person centered, solution focused, trauma informed and dialectical behavioral therapy.

It is important to note, my strengths in therapy are helping individuals develop healthy coping skills to manage symptoms of depression and anxiety, create solutions to troubling issues, process and grieve the loss of relationships and trauma and building self advocacy skills while improving self-esteem and confidence.
