About

Hi, I'm Michelle LeBeau, LCSW, and I value a safe and supportive client-centered approach to therapy. I am passionate about providing therapeutic services to culturally and socially economic diverse clients. While I have a strong connection to working with adolescents and young adults, I also appreciate being able to help people of all ages work through a transition in life or stressor that is contributing to something they want to change. My approach In addition to Attachment-Focused EMDR, my interventions include Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic, Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness. I am client-centered and am passionate about working with the needs and goals expressed by clients. I can utilize solution-focused when appropriate and always lead with compassion and honesty. My focus I work with clients from ages 12 and up. I understand the unique challenges of teens and young adults in today's world and enjoy helping people of all ages feel connected to their authentic and confident identities. I work with people who have a history of complex trauma or experienced a traumatic incident and want to work through and process the experience. I help people with life transitions, stressors, and navigating changes, relational concerns, as well as understanding and managing emotions. My communication style I strive to build a safe and comfortable environment for people to be honest and open about their lives and experiences so that they can share authentically and vulnerably. I am open about myself in ways that seem appropriate and helpful to clients to know. I hope all my clients feel respected, heard, affirmed, understood, and supported. My journey to mental healthcare I have always felt driven and connected to helping people. I have tried a few different career approaches that center around helping people and therapy is my fit. I have my own personal experience as a client and have value for the therapeutic process.
