I specialize in working with individuals from a trauma-informed approach using Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). My experience has led me to draw upon techniques from a variety of treatment models shown to support each client’s specific needs. This may include the use of somatic-based interventions, ego state therapies, attachment-based resourcing, and internal parts work to help foster growth and treatment progress when targeting more complex symptoms. Every client holds a unique blueprint of life experience when entering the therapy setting; as such, it is essential that treatment is tailored in a way that honors and supports all parts. Unresolved trauma, past negative experiences, or even unmet needs as a child can present as many different strategies for survival, such as depression, anxiety, substance use, grief, anger, sadness, shame, co-dependency, and physical complaints. I find the most joy in coming alongside clients on their journey as we notice the experiences that shape us with courage, compassion, and curiosity.
