Welcome to therapy, I am so happy you are here. My name is Michelle Fanning and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Illinois. I have multiple years of professional work experience, helping clients work through stress, anxiety, depression, coping with addictions, anger management, motivation, self esteem, confidence and more. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support & empower you in that journey. I received my Bachelor's degree in Social Work from the University of Missouri- Columbia and then my Master's in Social Work from The University of Illinois at Chicago. I have experience working in a substance use treatment center, child welfare, crisis hotlines, schools, and hospitals.
