I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the Commonwealth of Virginia with more than a decade of experience in the field of social work. I have assisted people in adjusting to a new normal by means of task analysis, supportive talk therapy, and case management. The people with whom I have worked in the past have struggled with symptoms of depression, anxiety, PTSD, and other such symptoms of mental illness. With the belief that anyone, in any situation, can benefit from therapeutic interventions, I draw from a number of theoretical perspectives. I base my work from a strength-based and client-centered perspective, and draw from CBT, as well as mindfulness based practices.
