Welcome! My name is Michelle and I am a licensed clinical social worker in Rhode Island. I have 17 years experience in the mental health field. I have provided counseling services to a wide range of diverse populations and utilize a variety of different treatment models based on your individual need. I am bilingual Portuguese speaking and have had the privilege of working with different cultural backgrounds. I truly value the importance of providing culturally competent care to those I work with. My therapeutic approach is interactive, genuine and direct with a mix of humor. My goal is that those I work with feel safe, valued,understood and heard with no judgement. I strive to listen with an open mind and together come up with resourceful solutions. Nobody knows you better than yourself. With that, you are the lead in your care!
