Michelle Wong MSW, LCSW. “People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” This is a quote from one of my favorite writers, Dr. Maya Angelou. When you come to therapy I create a safe space where you feel comfortable sharing your concerns. I believe that you have within yourself the ability to heal and grow. I utilize a variety of modalities to build healthy coping strategies and understand how past and present experiences can affect present behavior. Some of the modalities I use include mindfulness meditation, solution-focused therapy, coaching, and trauma-informed therapy. We develop together clear and individualistic goals to heal and grow. My areas of expertise are anxiety, family relationships, grief, stress, and trauma. I work with all age groups and thus far my youngest client was 18 months and my oldest is 100 years old. I love being a social worker and look at my work as a calling. I am a strong proponent that strong families produce strong children and communities. I want to do my part of being the change!
