I am a licensed therapist as well as an alcohol & drug counselor located in the beautiful state of Maine. I have worked in this field for 12 years in such settings as crisis stabilization units, residential rehabs, transitional programs for people who are homeless, and career counseling centers. I have experience working with individuals with physical disabilities, mental health diagnoses, and substance use disorders. I am passionate about my work and have a strong sense of commitment to the clients I serve.

As a counselor, it's important to me to hold a safe space for clients in which they feel free to share their feelings and concerns. I have a warm, compassionate, and non-judgmental style of counseling and I believe that the client is the expert in themselves and that my job is to join the client where they are at and support them on the road to a healthier and more fulfilling life. Life can be difficult to navigate and having the support of a professional who is committed to helping you maneuver the twists and turns in life’s roads can make the process easier.
