I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over twenty years of experience working in many settings, such as schools, hospitals, private practice, and community programs. I genuinely enjoy supporting teens and young adults in enhancing their social and emotional well-being. I am interested in women's issues and working with teenage girls. I have been a full-time School Social Worker for 17 years, which has allowed me to interact with a diverse population within general education and unique education settings. I provide individual and group social work services to students in the particular education program and develop and support students with 504 plans. I assist clients in managing the various life stressors that can cause emotional turmoil. I tailor treatment to meet the individual needs of my clients. I employ an eclectic approach and draw from various treatment modalities. I am strength-based and work collaboratively with clients to develop treatment goals. I feel it is imperative for clients to feel empowered to take an active role in the therapeutic process. I employ a holistic approach focusing on my client's overall wellness, including physical, psychological, emotional, and social well-being, not just their mental health. My calming disposition and genuine nature allow my clients to feel comfortable during sessions. I am committed to assisting clients to achieve social and emotional stability.
