I am a licensed psychologist with over 25 years experiences with individuals of all ages. Most people seek therapy when they are struggling with uncomfortable feelings such as anxiety or depression. These often result during major life transitions such as starting a new job, adjusting to relationship changes, parenting, grieving, or other new situations that may feel overwhelming. I approach therapy using an existential framework. In other words, all of us are searching for answers to difficult questions about what choices to make to increase our sense of purpose and happiness. We may need help forming connections and meaningful relationships with others because we feel alone or isolated. Therapy begins by focusing on your strengths and building resiliency. We learn to cope and resolve the most urgent concerns first and then learn how to use these skills for any future issues that may occur. The answers you seek are all within you. I am not here to give you answers, but to help you find them within yourself.
