My goal as a therapist is to help guide people of all ages through their current life experiences. I utilize a strength-based approach, designed to bring my client's strengths to the forefront while encouraging the development and processing of the more difficult experiences and feelings impacting you. I aim to decrease the discomfort my client feels while striving to improve long-term coping skills. I have found success utilizing a trauma-informed, relational approach and I work exceptionally well with those suffering from Depression, Anxiety, Trauma, maladaptive behaviors, and inattention as well as many other presenting issues. I graduated from Michigan State University with a Master's Degree in Clinical Social Work and am licensed through the State of Michigan. I've provided therapy for the last 10 years with children, adolescents, adults, and families. I've trained frequently in evidence-based practices emphasizing the relationship and behaviors. I have extensive experience working in complex cases, developing more positive behaviors, and increasing understanding. I have also been trained in Reflective Supervision, a specialized form of supervision designed to create depth in therapy. I provide this supervision and receive it as well, creating a more "whole" experience.
