Hello! My name is Michele and I am a licensed Clinical Social Worker in Maryland. I'm a 57 year old wife of 33 years, Mom to a military son and a creative daughter, mother in law to my sweet DIL and Nana to a German Shephard. My children are adopted; one from the United States and one from Guatemala. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, coping with addictions, family conflicts, & parenting issues. I've had varied experience from working as a therapist on a college campus, to dealing with addictions clients in a Suboxone clinic, and as a crisis counselor in the emergency room. Now, I'm a full time outpatient therapist. I have experience in using DBT for personality disorders and was trained by the Center for Deployment Psychology to work with veterans. One of my favorite training credentials is from the Center for Mind Body Medicine; great for anxiety! I collaborate with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process.
