Some times life comes at us hard and heavy. If you need a safe space to deal with things thrown your way, I can provide a safe, supportive, nonjudgmental and compassionate space. A space to create more balance and meaningfulness in your life.

I received a BSW from the University of Texas at Austin and then went on to complete a Master of Science in Social Work (MSSW) in 1999 from the University of Texas at Arlington. I have more than 10 years of experience as a clinical social worker, working with a range of people experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, family conflict, etc.

Over the span of my career, I have worked in hospitals and outpatient settings. I believe in building new skills and identifying support systems to help improve coping and promote overall wellness. For over 13 years, I have worked to improve the quality of life for our Veterans. I have also traveled close to the borders of Texas and Mexico providing support to women and children seeking new beginnings while escaping abuse and trauma. I recently traveled to Ghana in West Africa to offer educational and emotional support to over 350 students in a town outside of the Accra, the Capital city.
