I am a Professional Counselor currently licensed in New Jersey and Minnesota. I have more than 30 years of experience as a counselor, coach, and therapist.

I find that fulfilling and effective therapy begins with developing a relationship in which clients feel heard and understood. From that foundation it is important to collaboratively plan to develop skills that can help to flexibly move past stuck places that impede one from living a more fulfilling and satisfying life.

My approach is compassionate and client-centered. I have an eclectic framework utilizing a humanistic and systems based understanding and a behavioral and cognitive approach to adaptation, change, and skill building.

Many mental health challenges stem from becoming ‘stuck’ in the narratives and messages we tell ourselves. Recognizing these patterns, being clear about the values and vision by which one would like to live, and putting in place skills to move past those stuck places and toward a more satisfying and rewarding life is our goal.
