I have been in the counseling profession for over 15 years. I work as a professor of counseling, teaching Master's level students to become clinicians. I also work as a counselor supervisor, training future therapists as they work towards their own license.

As a strong proponent of personal evolution I entered the mental health profession to help others find a sense of peace in their own personal journeys towards self-discovery. I am a firm believer that we all need a little help throughout our lives and that therapy is merely a tool that helps individuals increase their own levels of personal awareness. No one should have to face their life challenges alone, nor should they have to navigate through all the variables that contribute to or decrease from their own sense of peace and happiness by themselves.

I work with clients of all populations and specialize in working with individuals struggling with substance abuse and anger management. I utilize various evidence based counseling techniques, strategies and interventions including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person Centered Therapy, Motivational Enhancement Therapy (MET), and Gestalt Therapy with an underlying existential approach to the entire therapeutic process.

I am a strong believer in taking the "guess work" out of therapy. I am here to help you, the client, get to where you want to be.
