I am a career psychotherapist of 30 years working with adults in outpatient therapy. I am licensed to practice psychotherapy in the State of Michigan. I am skilled at motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused brief therapy, guided imagery, mindfulness and Stages of Change process. I am comfortable working with various presenting problems including depression, anxiety, grief, relationship issues, gender identity and other issues including substance use/abuse recovery. I am an empathic, verbal, interactive therapist who is sensitive to others thoughts, feelings, cultural identities and lifestyle choices. Whether your goal is insight, symptom relief or restoration of functioning I will pair with you to develop a person-centered plan to put you on course to managing life’s challenges.”
