My name is Michael Dugas and I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Louisiana. I've been married to my beautiful wife for 13 years and we have 4 children together. I enjoy spending time with my family, going to the beach, listening to music and playing the drumset, drawing, watching movies, riding my bike, and hiking.

As a licensed clinical social worker I've worked with adolescents and adults from all backgrounds with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, mood disorders, adjustment disorders, and post-traumatic stress disorder.

My therapeutic approach combines cognitive-behavioral, strengths based, motivational interviewing, and my own personal intuition. My role as counselor is to help guide and assist you to achieve realistic, achievable goals.

I believe that seeking help is sometimes the hardest part, and here you are! My hope is that counseling will help you to find peace and relief. I also hope that counseling will help you better understand your purpose and enable you to pursue your dreams and desires in life.
