Michael graduated from Walden University in 2019 and holds a master’s degree in Marriage, Couples, and Family Counseling. Before obtaining his master’s degree, he received a bachelor’s degree in psychology. Michael has a passion for helping others and helping them find their best self. Michael believes that when you change the way you think, you can change the way you feel and behave. Michael believes that the therapeutic process should be a highly personal and transformative experience. Michael values and relies on the relational component of therapy and strives for his clients to feel truly heard and understood in sessions. Michael believes that building a trusting, safe, and collaborative relationship is essential to making progress in therapy. Viktor Frankl said, "when we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves." Michael cares deeply about working collaboratively with his clients toward achieving their goals. Michael has experience working with children, families, couples, and individuals.
