I am a psychotherapist with over 10 years of professional experience as a clinician. I have three Masters Degrees, in Clinical Social Work, Clinical Psychology and Education. I work with clients according to your needs and goals. I use a combination of psychotherapy or talk therapy with cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavioral therapy, and mindfulness techniques if appropriate to you. I am also a yoga teacher and so my voice is soothing and calming and I have strong awareness of how the body and mind are connected. I am a patient, focused, caring and open minded therapist. I have worked with diverse clients with many different needs and goals. I can help you to find healthier self-esteem and to understand yourself more deeply. I do include discussion of your childhood and background initially so that you can see how your patterns of relationships and behavior, as well as thoughts, have developed over time. I am a trained psychoanalyst. I work in a relational way, so we discuss your thoughts and feelings to bring you greater self-awareness and empowerment.
