Hi my name is Mia. I’m a licensed clinical social worker based in California who is compassionate and focused on helping others navigate through the ups and downs of everyday life. I have a wide range of experience working with clients experiencing depression, anxiety, and addiction. I have also worked in corrections facilities, so can assist if you or a loved one is facing incarceration. My counseling style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with dignity, respect, sensitivity, and compassion. My approach includes several therapeutic modalities ranging from; client centered, solution focused, motivational interviewing and a strengths based approach which draws heavily from Cognitive Behavioral Theory.
