Thank you for taking the time to read my profile, I can't wait to start working with you!

I am a Licensed Profession Clinical Counselor and have experience working with teenagers and their families, parents, couples, individuals and groups. I have provided substance abuse counseling in individual and group settings in residential facilities and in outpatient settings. I have experience in working with the criminal justice system with both juveniles and adults.

I work with individuals based on their needs and desires and allow the individual or couple to work on their goals. I believe that counseling can be beneficial for everyone and that it can make a huge impact on people's lives. I enjoy seeing the changes and improvements in people's lives and enjoy celebrating the successes. I believe that you as an individual have all of the answers and solutions and that it is my job to help guide you there. Many times life can get busy and stressful and by taking time to engage in counseling, the answers may be easier to see, especially once you are able to slow down and take a deep breath.

I enjoy getting involved in the counseling process with people and seeing the progression. I believe that it is important for a counselor to meet people where they are at and not try to force a change or something that does not feel genuine for the that individual. Everyone has such varying experiences and counseling can provide a platform to make sense of the world around us.
