I am a licensed clinical social worker and clinical supervisor with almost 20 years experience in mental health counseling, both within public and private sectors. I have previously worked with children, adolescents, families, and the over 65 populations. My approach is always trauma-informed and modalities include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, and elements of Psychodynamic Theory and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. I understand that no one approach can be used for all people and tailor therapy to each individual person. I am a queer and gender-affirming therapist. I also practice with acknowledgement of systemic discrimination upon my clients and how this causes stress and adverse health outcomes.
