Hello and welcome to Find A Therapist! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of Maine. I have 14 years of experience working in several different roles and across the lifespan (children to geriatric) which I believe gives me a unique perspective and ability to help with a wide variety of what brings people to counseling. The areas I have the most experience in is depression, anxiety, co-morbid health issues, parenting challenges, women's health, infertility, postpartum depression/anxiety, grief and loss, smoking cessation, issues related to aging, and caregiver burnout.

My counseling style is a blend of approaches and techniques. I pull mainly from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing to best meet the needs of who I am working with. I consider myself a warm and welcoming person who believes in being a good listener and building a solid therapeutic partnership with those who are coming to me for help. It is, often, not easy to reach out and start this process so I am so happy that you are doing this. I would greatly look forward to working with you!
