About

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in NY with approximately seven years of experience providing therapy to adults. I have worked with clients struggling with depression, anxiety, boundary-setting, relationship issues, low self-worth, sexual addictions, emotional regulation, and personality disorders. I have also provided treatment to individuals focusing on increasing awareness of sexually inappropriate behaviors and assisting individuals in working through these concerns.

I believe in using a person-centered therapeutic approach while employing evidence-based practices, which include motivational interviewing, positive psychology, acceptance and commitment therapy, psycho-education, and cognitive behavioral therapy. I believe in treating everyone with respect and compassion with the mindset that each individual is unique in their needs and goals. It is important to shatter negative labels and self-perceptions while focusing on identifying and working through unhealthy thinking patterns and behaviors.

It can be difficult to ask for help and take that first step toward making a change. I am here to support and motivate you when you are ready to take that step. Together we can work through your personal challenges while moving toward a balanced life where you can make changes and work on your personal goals.
