Hi! My name is Melissa. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Florida with over 10 years experience in clinical social work. My therapy style is warm and compassionate. I use an array of therapeutic approaches in order to meet the diverse needs of the people I work with. My foundation is a humanistic, strengths based perspective that facilitates growth and change while respecting you as the expert on yourself.

I have worked with teens and adults struggling with issues related to trauma, adjustment, difficulty in relationships, substance abuse, depression, and anxiety. I have a passion for racial and social justice and experience working with LGBTQ+ people of all ages in navigating the unique experiences of our community.

Life can be hard at times and things have been harder than usual the past couple of years. It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards change. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you.
