I earned my Master’s degree in Counseling from Denver Seminary in 2005 and have been licensed as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the State of Colorado since 2009. My experience includes working in a variety of mental health settings – Private Practice, Residential Treatment Center for Adolescents, Substance Abuse Agency, Homeless Shelter, Crisis Units, Community Outpatient Center, Medicaid Provider, and providing Supervision to LPC candidates. The motto for my practice is “walking alongside to hope” and I look forward to supporting clients in the journey to find hope in their situations. I work with life issues – such as depression, anxiety, stress, relationships, confidence, and trauma – utilizing an integrated model of counseling, tailoring the treatment plan to the client and their goals using techniques and methods of various counseling models such as Brief Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Relational Therapy, Family Systems, and Experiential Therapy. When requested, I also provide counseling from the Christian perspective.
